Biker Girl vs. Bikini Bunni

My still camera is on the fritz, its a Canon 5D. We were shooting with it the other day when all of a sudden Loren said it lost all power and we had a fresh battery in it. We switched to the backup camera, my Canon 10D. I took the camera home and without the strobes it worked just fine with a standard lens. Later, I took it back over to the studio and it wouldn’t work with the strobes again. Later that week, tried it again and it worked with the strobes but wouldn’t focus. So it looks like I need to send it in. You don’t want equipment failing on you when you’ve got a girl all tied up and you’re sitting on her face! I always have a backup still camera, and video camera, and lighting system. Any one of these fail on you and its such a loss to have to end a shoot in mid-orgasm. Which actually happened to me the other day. We were shooting the dental theme set for Smothered Slave, and Loren said she had to switch tapes and said she didn’t see another one in the box. I forgot to buy new ones! I was mid orgasm and we had to stop and send for someone to get more tapes at the store. Wow I learned that lesson fast!!
With the new year, I have a new addition to my crew. John Wilkes, the lighting pro who shoots for Hustler, Digital Playground, etc. just to name a few is going to become a regular lighting and camera guy for my studio. I had rented his studio in the past before I got my own and I was so impressed by his lighting that I figured I needed to have him do some lighting for me on a regular basis. He’s also my new publicist and we often go out to the porn parties together.

sounds awesome, but sucks about the camera. Sounds as bad as when we would do double tapes(1 live show and the other taped for the next week) most time it would be someone would screw up some point of the match and we would have to come back out and reshoot that point of the match which was weird to go slow on the moves to set up the point of the screw up and correct it. Love the money bikini.
